A defining Moment

Life is full of defining moments...moments where we are making choices second by second. It is at that moment that we need to make a decision as to
what will define us in our moments. As a father I will have many defining moments with my son, choices that he will have to make that will shape his life. It is at this moment that I choose to make a defining moment in my life. I look forward to teaching my son the truths that I have learned on how to be a man, a father, a son, and a husband. I will be able to teach him how to love those that are around him. Ultimately, as a father it is my great joy to see this son of mine grow into the man of God that he will become. I praise God for the gift that he has given me and my beloved wife. There are many joys in life and one of them is a child.

Ahhhh....the true meaning of Handsome

Some of the Grandparants

Okay, here are some of the grandparents that visited Micah during his birth. I will have more pictures to come of the rest of the grandparents shortly. The couple to your right is Kim's parents and to the left is my adoptive parents, Tom and Debbie Ward. The pictures I don't have, yet, is my mother (Pamela Crabtree, from Spokane, Wa) and my father from Seattle and his wife Karla (Dennis Tripp).

A New Daddy

Right after birth, Micah was wheeled up to the nursery and given a bath and wrapped in "swaddling" clothes and placed in his proud fathers arms. Next to my wedding day, this is the proudest moment in my life. SC

They finally meet

My beautiful Kim has just experienced a C-section that wasn't to thrilling, however, in the end she holds her loved one, Micah, in her arms for the first time. Isn't she gorgeous. Kim had to wait 2hrs, while in recovery, to see her husband and her son, frankly, it was worth the wait.

The New Addition to the Crabtre3

Our Son, Micah Victor Crabtree, Born January 22, 2007 @ 4:44 pm weighing in @ 7lbs5oz @ a whopping 21.5in tall. I never thought that this day would come that I would be able to hold my son in my arms and call him, "My son." A very surreal moment in time.

The start of the BLOG

This is Kim and I at the Top of Glacier National Park she is 4/5 months pregnant. Such a wonderful wife, we hiked three miles to get to this point.

In my attempt to show everyone our new addition to the family, and finally convinced by my expert sister and husband, I have now, through the help of modern technology, created a blog. Enjoy, friends and family. SC
